That'll buff right out...
well i just got an update from allstate. almost 1 month later (2 days more woulda been a month) they finally send an adjuster out to look at it.
the damages got reduced from the original $8636 to $5075.92 total. $4517.18 is what i'm getting which is after the $500 deductable + $58.74 for the "50% worn tire". mind you i've only had these tires on the car for 7 months.
the total damages got reduced because they're going to use "like kind and quality parts from a recycler." the suspension parts will all new new oem honda.
he also mentioned that some parts the body shop had on there he didn't see the need for but if it was a problem they'd send an adjuster back out there or something to that effect.
that's just great!

that really sucks doode.... bastards i hate them sometimes i wonder if its worth having insurance here you are with an insured car with actuall honda parts and they'll replace with non oem ones . they did that with my civic too
allstate
if i were you i would just get the money and do it my self on the side (used parts) (even cheaper) and sell it get some $$ out of it. got to beat the system

it's not worth my time to get it done myself on the side. and since they're using "used" panels already it's not much different. The entire right rear suspension will be new and i don't have the time nor patience to go hunting those pieces down used so i'd end up buying it new anyway.
