Hunter,

If you break it down your takeoff was fine and your finish was fine. It was just all that turning in the middle. So lets work on that and next time you will do grand.lol BTW, don't worry too much I didn't exactly set the course on fire.

I think next time I am going to use my turn signals. I hear Kimmie is a real stickler on those things.lol

Did anyone see that Blue RSX, someone needs to tell him his hood doesn't match the rest of his car. (Keith that was a good one.)

It was great to see so many S2000 drivers participating at the autocross.

One of the most important things you can do to get better at autocross is SEAT TIME. If the idea of being competitive gets you excited, keep coming to these events and you WILL get better. It's difficult to gain experience quickly when you only do 3 or 4 (OR 2!) autocross runs every month or two. Come over to Fort Myers where the Gulf Coast autocrossers offer a Saturday school and Sunday event. You can get 10-20 runs in during a typical practice day - that's equivalent to the experience you'd get in 4-5 months of events. Also, Evolution Performance Driving School offers excellent programs in driver development.

I was pretty excited to win my first event in my new DSP class by 0.02 seconds! However, if you consider that Oscar was on street tires (Azenis) and I was running race rubber (Toyo RA1s), he gets the kudos despite the 70 HP advantage in his Civic Si.

Great Job Josh! I only managed second in ASP, was beat by the guy who runs the white 944 (non turbo?) who ran like 17 times (I was working in timing). At the end they just decided to take his 2 best times which were a few tenths faster then my 35.242. No biggie however because there is way more car then driver now (as if there wasn't before), I have no doubt that I had a low 33, high 32sec car.

I'll be at Ft. Myers the next 2 weekends with some alignment adjustments and hopefully will do better.

Although I would have enjoyed a few more runs, the autocross meet was great. I too learned several things. Here's a few...

1. I need more seat time just to ensure I stay on the course.
2. Don't forget your helmet.
3. The South Florida group is as friendly in person as they are online.
4. Ladies find 9 inches to be a little too much!

I look forward to the next event!

That's because you two do 4.5" twice and women don't feel it. Damn I'm good!

That's it for me folks. Come to the 11 o'clock show it is entirely different from the 9:30. Don't forget to tip your wait staff.
