Default thinking of getting wheels

ok, so i want some BBS wheels but without the BBS price. Ive always loved the classic look of web wheels like the LM's but cant bring myself to spend the money on rs gt's. So in my search for knock offs ive come accross ASA AR1's
great price and the look I want . let me know what you guys think??? need opinions or suggestions.. dont know were else to look. remmember, im looking for something affordable. and please no bs about how much better 3 piece wheels are and so on. im buying wifey a beemer and cant afford $3g wheels right now

thanks

There is a guy in SoCal (socals I believe) selling a set of BBS RGR's for ~$1800 with tires.

Save up for the real stuff, you're better off.

asa ar1's are cool, both crazylarry and tacoman have sets in black. i considered them for my berlina ap1 but never got around to buying them and now that i have a silverstone ap2 i don't think it'd look good (personal preference)

You should get the 3 piece wheels there better. Plus there not really more expensive. If you think about it, since there 3 piece each wheel your actually getting 12 wheels!!!!!

I think I remember seeing some for sale pretty cheap recentlly..check in the FS forum.

If you want better priced mesh wheels I would check out the Enkei RPM-2. They come in offsets that fit the S in 17 and 18, cost around the same (if not even less) as the asa's, and they weigh +/- 17 pounds.

I know you wanted mesh wheels but I think RPF-1's or Work Emotions in gunmetal would look good too.
