Guys I am getting tints done this weekend and I was just curious what is the safest Percentage(and darkest) I can get without getting pulled over... I don't want the legal limit maybe something a lil darker but won't stand out to much?

 

20% is legal limit

From what I was told when the trooper gave my ex girlfriend one ticket for each window for illegal tints ($75 x 2), she was told 20% or darker is allowed in the rear and back glass and 35% is the darkest allowed in the front two windows. Can you believe that...she was so pissed. Real A$$hole.

Everybody gets 20% or darker all round no matter what Mr officer says. Just remember to take a picture of each window without tints before you get them done in case you do get hit with ticket(s). Then you can show the court the photos and BS them.

I think 20% would be perfect for your S...Im also interested in doing mine Agi. I know a tint place down South that has the computer cut system. My guess is its about 40 bucks to do our cars. If you want, we can take both cars and get a better price.

 

I'm In Mr. Craig, i remember paying $40 for my Prelude with also computer cut but that was 5 years ago in WPB, still the tints are good as new ..

Hey bro i just put 15% last weekend in my S2000. It looks better than 20% its to light.

 

15% is nice too...It all depends on how dark you like it.
