Hey Guys,

I live in Miami, FL and from all the rain and heat my top is tearing in all contact parts. I need to replace it and the dealer wants $1,200 for the top + labor. What is my best option? Should I go with an auto body shop or pay the dealer price for the authentic stuff?

i just had mine replaced due to slashing while in the body shop for repairs..they paid and i ended up finding otu it costs 1100, then the top frame was found to be bent...another 1500...both times the body shop sent it out to a top shop or apolstry shop...i would take your car to one of those, the dealer may well use one as well...anc charge you a fee for the service on top of the cost.
