It was a blast...a ton of cars there of all variances. I didn't stray too far since
I had the top down (I watched Alex's and Joe's car while they toured) and enjoyed talking with folks about the cars. One couple (late 30, 40-ish) spent about 20 minutes asking me questions about the S2000 and graciously ended the conversation with, "we've walked the whole lot and yours is our favorite car" so that was nice. Two other guys walked up about 10 minutes later and said, "your car is in our top 10" so maybe it WAS a good strategy to keep the carbon fiber hood down (bwahahahaha) since my engine bay isn't all bling-blingy like Joe's (I've still got that 'been through two New England winters -look).
Joe thought it would be nice to get a larger, more representative S2000 gathering down the road and I agreed. You could see lines of Ram Airs and
Mustangs, etc and it would be nice to have a good S2000 contingency there. There were some spectacular cars (one Mini Cooper had a TV in the trunk...that was kinda whacked) and well worth the trip for any car nut like ourselves. The car of the show (my .02) was the black Grand National with
the "pick any part of the engine bay to use as a mirror" going for it. Incredible.
