Default VW LEMONS

I work for a roadside assistance company and one of our main clients it VW/Audi and let me tell you these car suck big time! There are calls for 2 hour old cars breaking down its pretty bad, so at the office this website was going around in celebration of IMO the worst German manufacturer. Enjoy

Actually Josh I already knew the 3rd Gens weren't that well made. You wont find an original (other than the 50K one for sale) that doesn't have a rebuilt engine. For some reason the engine in the 3rd gen just sucked. Oh well, I'll stick to my 2nd Gen Convertible

Thanks for the post. I will definitely spend some time on that site. My '00 Jetta has been pretty horrible and I have been warning people about VW for the past 3 years.

Just talked to a friend of mine yesterday who has a Cabrio up in NJ. I can't tell you how many things she's had to bring it to the dealer for in just the last few months.

I looked at the Cabrio before deciding on my S. VW just seemed to have questionable reliability. Who wants to spend that much time having their car at the dealer for stuff that shouldn't be breaking on a semi-new car?!

its allways up in the air with those cars...they either are bullet proof or their just crap. Ive known plenty of people that have had new ones that have been total junk...but then again my old roomate had a vr6 corrado that went like hell with 130k miles, and no problems at all.

seems kinda like the luck of the draw.
