Ithink sub forums can have badges (looking at socal as an example) right now the SFL subforum has what appears to me as a redX graphic next to the title so it may have been attempted but failed when the forum was relaunched.

If my theory is correct...I would like to request that our badges be setup in the respective subforums. Willie's design for what was our FL-FL badge is great and should proabably serve as the Main FL badge or if the concept of a main badge and then sub badges is too confusing then I would think we need to design new badges for the other sub forums besides the existing one for SFL. The badge willie designed was made to represent what now amounts to three subforums.

Subforums can have badges.... not sure if everyone needs to be added back to the badge list or not, but I'm sure the Admins can work that out. If not, a simple sticky listing badge requests can be added and the CO can add them.
