Perhaps we could pitch in a send some flowers over to his family?

Would anyone like to participate?

I think it would be better than flowers

Thanks for the thoughts guys/gals. Steven was a great person and will be missed.

Also, please think about the "Cure for Cancer" badge in my sig. I've had it in a couple of my names for the past three year. Somehow it is research using your computer. I'm not sure how it really works, but I've had it running on three of my computers for as long as I've had my S.

I only met him once, but he was the first person to welcome me to the florida forums and invite me to an event.

Count me in on whatever you decide

The cancer/computer thing is basically using your unused CPU cycles (like when your computer is sitting dormant, doing nothing but a screen saver) to corrolate gene sequences and such. My father has been running one for SETI (Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence) for a number of months (years?)... makes a great screen saver all by itself.

I do think looking for a cure for cancer and looking for ET are two different goals though
