I rarely listen to Power 96 but while scanning through stations this weekend, I came across a song I like so I left it on. After the song ended, Beasley Broadcasting made a public apology as to what was said on the DJ Laz Morning Pimp Show on Friday morning.....WHAT WAS SAID??? I've done a search for it but can't find anything.

They even said that the employment of the morning crew was under review. ??!?!?!?!?! Does anyone know?

I'm bored and I'm just being chismosa!!! Lol.....

No... apparently it was some comment DJ Laz said and thousands of listeners have been calling and emailing the station. The "Pimp Show" was not on this morning but they will be back on the air tomorrow morning. They just won't comment on what was said.

Looking all over the internet I got 3 different stories

1)I listened to the whole show on friday and it seemed like they were talking about sexual intercourse, which is extremely inappropriate to speak about in a public radio station.
But they were saying it in a way that was not so controversial, I didn't think it was a big deal.


2)I'm not exactly sure, but i think he or the chick on the show called someone a "negro", like in Spanish. Something like, "ah, that's the coolest negro you'll ever meet." But I'm not sure.

3)It's a spoof.....

 

I'd have to say it's a spoof.


Morning Pimp Show is MIA

If his lawyer doesn't know what is going on then it's bullshit. They probably need publicity to get people to listen to the show tomorrow because there will be something big going down.

El Zol says some raunchy things in spanish that would not fly if said in english so I highly doubt what they were talking about on Friday or what they said is a big deal.

You can say nigger on the air because it is not considered an sexually offensive word and is not on the list of "banned" words. I listen to the love doctors all the time on Real Radio and they have these crazy rednecks call in and bitch all the time about how the niggers are taking over and the spics are running down society and they don't bleep them but they do bleep out cursing and sexual explicit comments.

So I highly doubt it was #1 or #2
