Guys I'm going to the new track here in Dade tomorrow (Countyline Dragway) I know is only a 1/8 mile strip I will be racing to a 04 WRX stock, 02 GTI w/High mods, and a 360whp SRT4 What are my chances on this??I have NEVER race my car from the HOLE... what is a good RPM to launch...

when i race i launch at 4500 rpms around there, i always pull ahead and alot of times keep pulling... depends on who your racing... sti stock you could be neck and neck and maybe beat if you drive right... GTI turbo.... i doubt it. The SRT4 with 360? He would prolly whore you from the start im guessing..
careful with the people there man... some ****in civic owners do alot of stupid shyt or in other words ricers!

He said WRX, hopefully not the STI version. If the owner of the STI is good, there is nothing neck and neck about it. An STI is fairly quicker than an S2000. Fastest recorded 1/4 mile time on an S2000 has being 13.7 while the STI holds the highest record at 12.7, thats a whole second, you get the idea. That's of course best times recorded, still the average times favor the STI.
PS. Did I ever tell you I have 700 Sea horses on my S?
^ dont wanna burst your bubble but i beat an STI yesterday at "doralchobee"... by almost a whole car... yea i know the sti is farrr quicker than the s2000 the only conclusion i can come up with is that the guy didnt know how to drive. due to the fact that i took em STR8 out the whole by a car

I have beaten cars that should have left me thinking, its a driver and situation type thing. All I was trying to say is that the STI is no easy lunch, those things can get off the line in very scary ways. I have being doing it now for the past few months and when I get it right its to damn fast. The car settles after its starts rolling but the initial accleration is to brute. the AWD is great to leap like frogs off the lights.
