Default Who here has their CCW

Who here has their concealed weapons permit and/or what guns do you guys have?

my bro i thinking of getting a H&K P2000SK.

Yesterday went to the indoor range in Doral. Tried the H&K P2000SK, the USP Compact and Glock 19 and 26.

Went with a friend also and we all loved the P2000SK. We all felt that Glocks are the biggest POS ever made; ergonomics, weight, feel, etc... looks made in China.

For the record; I killed Osama.

lol, you went to Aces. My buddy works there (the only asian in there). The HK is over priced, and you honestly get more reliability through a glock. Im not a fan of the glock, but if you like the feel of the HK, you should try shooting the Springfield XD 40 or the XD-M(the badass model). Trust me you will like that pistol.

^^^Erroneous, erroneous on both counts!

Tell that to the Marines ... when I was going to Recon training, guess what I was issued? An HK. The rumors about Glocks shooting underwater, and after being filled with sand, and all that other stuff are rumors. Many people have replicated the tests, and Glocks always fail, while HKs always pass.

Yes the HK is priced higher than the Glock, but you definately get more for your money. Glock's triggers alone make it worth the extra money to go with HKs.

Springfield makes decent pistols, but you really can't go wrong with the HK, it's a beautifully crafted gun that will never let you down.

If you take a look at the dimensions & weight distribution of each pistol, the Glock and P2000SK are not much different from one another.

If you would care to elaborate on the factors that have lead you to believe that Glock pistols are the "biggest POS evermade", It would than be a good discussion.

By the way...Congratulations on killing Osama.. I have also killed him many times...

And to answer your question about CWP...nope I dont have one, eventually invest time into taking the exam.

Happy killings brother...

Yes sir. Besides the differences in durability/reliability, the biggest difference btw an HK and a Glock is the way it feels. Glocks are just designed sort of weird, they don't feel exactly right in your hand, and the triggers suck. HKs feel much better in your hand, and their triggers are much easier to use and modulate. Just my opinion though. And that of the US Marine Corps.

There was an incident involving Glock firearms, in regard to the clip malfuncitoning and exploding, coming out through the empty chamber in the back of the pistol some time ago. Never had an issue with my clip, and hope that I would never have to. Glocks are reliable firearms as well, they have been in the business for many years, and have been given the seal of approval by many governmental agencies world wide.

For the Marine Corps to have considered the issue of a firearm(HK), that is fairly "new in the game"is impressive. My sole experience is personal, and it has been with many, I am stuck with using my Glock. Never have ventured out into another polymer pistol. Maybe its time I take a look at this HK product line....

Glock deserves merit for the innovative product line introduced many years ago. It is a very simple, uncomplicated, handgun. To call the product line the biggest POS ever created is blasphemy son.

yea, the HK feels like an extension of your hand. The grip is amazing, balance, weight... gun looks of higher quality, and looks cool too.

Nice, Santi. Sounds like you had fun.

I go shooting at times with my brother. I own a Sig Sauer P230 but these are a lot more fun to shoot....

My brother and niece in the background:

Dario (GranPrix)

Max (VeilSide AP1)

This could be a fun little event if anyone is down for going shooting.

Woody: I haven't forgotten ya. I know you have a date with the 50 cal. My brother and I were talking about that the other day and he's still down for going out there again if you still want to go shooting.
