Kawasaki has the fatest and most powerful jets ski now. Im personally would get the Sea Doo or Yamaha.

Way too big for my taste....I'm shopping for another 96 Sea Doo XP (yup, the bumble bee).
I have a 98 GSX Limited back home. I remember back then, I always wanted to get an XP Limited. Same engine but the XP looked much better. You might want to look into that

Also, its pretty sad that nobody's mentioned getting a honda :/

I guess nobody wants to have their ski's seat stolen...

I've had three 96 Sea Doo XP's (one was stolen), one 97 Sea Doo GSX limited, one 96 Yamaha Waveraider, one 96 Yamaha Waveventure Triple, one 97 Yamaha GP1200 (very fast, but a lemon), a Poo Poo Polaris (that one only lasted about 2 months before I got rid of it) and a 94 Kawasaki. Of all those, the only ones I would consider getting now are the 96 XP (first choice) or a 98 or 99 GSX limited.

Is your GSX the red and purple? I had the year right before it. That is a fantastic ski because you have the power of the XP but it's a little bigger so I was able to enjoy it with my niece and nephew a lot more. If I get another XP, no one will ever be riding behind me.....

No one mentioned getting a Honda because they are behind the game right now. Even chipped with a new intercooler you are still only topping out at 65-67. Thats with $1500 worth of extra stuff. I can tell you from experience that my chipped Honda was the fastest accelerating ski I've encountered. I dragged a few RXPs and I would always get up to speed faster they just had more top end.

Also, Honda's dealer network SUCKS now. You can only buy an Aquatrax at a Honda "Powerhouse" dealer. The only one within 300 miles is Rick Case. I wouldn't do business with them EVER after my last experience. A bunch of thieves.

I think Yamaha is the best right now. There is a PWC forum and by far the people with the most problems are the Sea Doo folks. Honda probably has the least, with Yamaha not too far behind. The 4-stroke Yamahas seem to be very reliable. Yamaha needs to come out with a super powerful ski to compete with the RXPs and the Ultra 250s though.

This looks pretty dorky on the water. Saw one a few weeks back when I was out on my boat. Its also not a very powerful motor.
