I drove the S down to Naples two weekends ago and then spent last weekend in Key West. Driving home yesterday was so depressing!

Driving back up the keys I prayed for something to prevent me from leaving.

Rt 1 leaving key largo was backed up big time (10 emergency vehicles passed me before I turned around)

I took something card road instead. A little while after the toll booth the road was covered with smoke from what looked like a wild fire.

God was working overtime to help me stay!

hahaha Card Sound Road. Yes there was a small fire down south yesterday. Don't you just hate it when you are enjoying something then have to go back to reality?

Oh well should have stayed another couple days it's going to be absolutely beautiful down here until about Thur Night/Friday!

 

Yeah, real life just isn't what its cracked up to be.

My friends are down through next weekend so all I can do is hope they get sunburned

 

Naples was great. My snow bird in-laws had a great place at the kensington golf course, but had to sell it and this was the last trip for them so it was bitter sweet. It's a beautiful area, but it seems like development is out of control.

It's so relaxing, I don't think I VTEC'ed while I was there.


I'm definitely from Bowie. My parents moved here when I was 2. There seems to be some invisible bungee cord that prevents me from moving away.

As soon as the kids are out of the house, the wife and I are heading to the sunshine state!

 

Doesn't surprise me. There's nothing fast about the keys. That's why they call it "keys time".
