What ever happened to the meets at Shops On Don Mills or Canadian Tire on Lakeshore or at least something more central. Sherway is almost in Mississauga.... Maybe we can make these bimonthly and alternate between the two. Anyone down for a meet on June 11th somewhere central?

Sherway is pretty central, right along the Gardner, in between people from the east and people out in Kitchener, Waterloo, st Catherine's etc

You're definitely more than welcome to set up another meet between the monthly ones, but previous attempts have all fizzled due to lack of people showing up. Just not as many S's and/or interest I guess.

History 101 on these meets. The CT meet ups were before my time so that was at least 5 years ago. SoDM was actually pretty good about 3-4 years ago, when meets were weekly. But then starting 2 years ago, very few showed, and finally after tinkering a bit with various locales and frequencies last year, and we found the monthly meets at Sherway brought out the most guys (even from Markham).

Looking at the big picture it is central. Right at the junction of the Gardiner/Qew/427.

Lots of people from Halton, Hamilton and beyond who are coming.

Liberty Village Harvey's...its 5K East of Sherway Gardens...Huge parking lot and I'll personally garnish everyone burger.

I wanted to host for quite some time now...if you guys all come out, I'll host...I've always wanted to do this...serve the S2 community.

Used to live there in the second condo that went up. I drove through the other day and it's nuts how many buildings are built there now.

I'm down, but parking can be a bitch unless it's after 9pm or so.

I think all of us can agree on what a great idea that is! If it's a big enough lot to hold at least 15-20 of us (which is the average showing if the weather is good) then why not?
