I love how every little thing out of the ordinary will cause the States to go into a country-wide panic. U.S. is the most secure and safe country my ass.

If the terrorists really wanted to take out Bush - they would've done it by now.

There was NO country-wide panic. The news media inhailed some speed and blew it way out of proportion, but that is our dumb :smam:ing media, not all of us citizens.

It was just a little Cesna, the guy was flying a perfectly straight line with his GPS and did not know the airspace was restricted, no charges have been filed.

You think the student pilot needed to change his underwear when he noticed the F15s circling his little Cesna?

BTW - that instructor should lose his flying license.....

I guess I should have been more clear in saying that even small incidents like this would cause the media to widespread panic / fear amongst the viewing public.

Perhaps not a country-wide panic, but rather much of the city and surrounding areas due to. as you said, the media blows things out of proportion (as always).

In the article, they mention the terror alert was raised to the highest for a little while - I'm sure that raised hairs on a few no matter what. And once again the media has done it's job of scaring the crap out of everyone.
