Nice, I thought you were well over -2 with that drop. Front tire wear okay for you Jinder ?

You don't drive enough for the tires to wear. Who cares! The fronts wear too slowly with just street use anyways

I want to get an alignment done this spring. I've been running -1.5 degrees camber front and -2 rears. I'm thinking of going up to -2 fronts (zero toe) and keeping the rears at -2 (3/16" total toe). Anyone running -2 up front, if so how has it worked for you ?.

I'm running a square 255 setup on potenza Re-71R's and running -2 in the rear and -2.2 in the front. turn-in is very crisp, and the overall grip level is ridiculous. The guy I bought the car from had the front set to almost 0 camber in the front so I can't compare before/after if -0.5 camber would make a huge dramatic difference.

That sounds good, thanks for the reply. I am breaking wheel well liner clips on the front so I though a bit more camber might help, if it doesn't adversely affect tire wear.

Hard to say if camber will help... You could heat up the fender liner (heat gun) and with some thick gloves form the liner out of way (Nick's little secret sauce).. Could bend the tabs as well, a combination of both might get you by
[/quote]

I don't get any rubbing of the liner itself, and I don't hear any rubbing noise, it's just the clips break apart from occasional contact.

I may just push up the taps a bit, it looks like I just need a couple mm of extra clearance, thanks for the tip

It doesn't sound like you need much. Incase the pin is close to the fender, you could probably shave a mm or 2 using side cutters on the tip of the clip pin

Thanks Dom !, yeah maybe a clip or shave of the grommet might help too. Worth a try. :tipwink:

Remove the clip and tuck the liner behind the fender tab. Heat up the liner and bend the tab up slightly. Problem solved. If you're not planning to track the car often running 2deg camber is a waste. If you do plan to track the car. Max camber on stock adjustments should be enough depending on the tire you are running and how aggressive you are at the track.

Thanks Nick, so I don't need to run a clip that way, interesting.
