So I've been seeing a couple of Audi A3 on the road this week. I honestly can't figure out why anyone would pay $35k for something that looks like a Chevy Aveo and only comes in FWD. Why?! The car makes no fscking sense in this market. Once the Golf GTI comes out, they won't be able to give it away.

 

I don't get it either...

Reminds me of how overpriced the Smart Car is.

same reason people will pay an extra $2g for a 1.7 EL when a Civic Sedan will do? or same goes for a Lexus ES300 when a Camry will suffice?

i thought there was going to be an awd version of this available in the rs3? unless, once again, canada got shafted from fun cars?

 

It will be AWD soon enough, but yes it is a golf that we don't have yet. Much more luxurious it's a 5 door not the 3 door pictured.

The thing is you can get an A4 for less or around the same.

 

Sorry, but like Bangle (BMW), Audi should fire whoever is responsible for the direction their design is headed. The front of Audis (and some VWs for that matter) look like a female pubis. Edsel couldn't make it sell then. I'm wondering why Audi thinks they can make it work now.

 

I saw one of these not too long ago, they are pretty nice looking. If it came all wheel drive turbo, it would be a very nice machine.
