you only need it done once and on ap1's, I believe they fixed the issue with ap2's on the factory line. If you did it already then you are good.

a nut isn't going to torque itself down to 225 ft lbs on it's own... especially when it's staked.

I would get it torqued down before you lose an axle or diff.
chris i swear i used to hear it when i first bought the car from every dead stop... right after i switched to megan streets, NOTHING. No clue!

maybe you had a loose suspension bolt or something? Very wierd!
