Default Bought an s2000

I posted in October (Original Post) and asked for info about buying an s2000, well I've bought one and pick it up this weekend.

I'm pumped about the getting the car, even though I still have not driven an s2000, let alone the one I have bought.

It's a 2005 S2000 with 25,000 miles, comes with an SCCA approved rollbar, recaro seat, 6 point harness etc, etc. I spent a little more than I intended but I am very comfortable with the seller which counts for a lot in my book.

I torture myself by watching the following two vids

One

Two

Congrats on the new car.

With the car prepped like that, you'll have no excuse not to take it to the track!

congratz dood. I picked up a NUSED 06 myself. Stock except for OEM front lip, side strakes and spoiler. There's a scratch on lip, curbed rim, and a small dent, but I'll fix it in the spring.

Congrats Jinglis........enjoy your new toy. Take a look at the video on this site, especially the second one on the technical difference between the 2.0 L and the 2.2 L engine.

Congrats. I checked autotrader and we sure are seeing price drop with the C$ at these levels. We should see lots more S2KI guys in Canada.

1st event probably Mosport
Mid Ohio
Mosport a couple more times
Watkins Glen maybe twice
Calabogie?
Mt Tremblant

Watched the vids, interesting...wished the car went to 9Krpm...I'll found out when I go to the track about the 8Krpm limit.

Nice! We are planning a Shannonville day just for S2KI track dorks and interested racers in late April as a pre-season warmup. I'll post more info when i have a date.
