Thats a good way for them to cut labour and overhead costs, not give a f@#k about the environment and still collect peoples money

no, but I believe there was talk about them doing away with all the sniffer/dyno test and replacing it with a simple OBDII check

They told us at school that around June/July 2012 there will be a change in emission testing, they're going to get rid of dyno's. OBD1 cars will have a two speed idle test and OBD2 cars will simply be plugged in to see if all the emission equipment is hooked up.
