Default Driving to Florida?

I recently got a 2006 Honda S2K.

I live near Toronto.

I am thinking about driving the car to Florida.

Has anyone done this? Can the car handle 20-24 hours of driving within a short period?

Thank to all those who respond.

Don't see any reason why not. Proper maintenance is all you need. Change the oil before you leave. Should be good.
If you're worried about consistent driving though for long periods then you could always stop somewhere for the night to give the car a break.
I was going to do the drive two years ago, but few things changed and I couldn't. Would still like to do it though.

6 of us (6x s2ks) just drove back from north carolina (1300-1400km) straight in 14 hours or so.. The car will be fine, you'll need to stop every couple of hours or so for food/gas/washrooms anyways

Thanks! I imagine you would have been in 6th gear all the way through. How was the fuel economy? How many times did you have to refill going one way?

The newer cars got better mileage it seemed. From just south of Detroit, I used just over half a tank to get back to my home in the east end of Toronto. I was going 120 and up the whole way. Average speed of about 125. Do bring ear plugs, it will just save your ears from all the wind noise. Make sure you find a comfortable way to sit right away as well.

we refilled more often than we needed to.. we had people with FI/gears and we tried to combine gas fill ups with food/washroom stops

I didn't always measure MPG but I got 25MPG once and 30MPG another time

Remember to check your oil if you dont know your consumption. Achieving over 30 us mpg is easy. Check out the keys while your down there, would be awesome in a vert! Long trips are not a problem, your intake air temps stay close to ambient and coolant should stay around 84 C as long as your moving. In my opinion, letting the car stop after a long trip is worse since your under hood temps will rise quickly.
