Default First Time Visit to Ontario

The family will be checking out the Niagara falls on both side this weekend but coming early to visit family at Scarborough, Ontario first.

We would to like to fine a good hotel around town with in 15-20 minutes drive from relative's house. A good family park for picnicking, stroll around and shopping would be great. Our kids are all in their teens so kids ride are not fun for them anymore. We are looking 1-2 days stay in Ontario area before heading back home.

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ron

According to address it's in St. Clair Ave. East. When I googled the area there seems to be boat dock south east of the are.

Thanks.

Where along St Clair Avenue east? I lived off that street my whole life I can probably tell you the best places around. It sounds like its Kingston road and St Clair to me.

There is the bluffs, as you guessed it the boat docks and beaches. Watch out for geese and bird crap though

stay in north york. right near 401/404/dvp, there is the Westin Prince hotel.

There is edwards gardens, and its pretty central. Also close by is Don Mills mall and you can also venture up the 404 to vaughn mills.

Guess your not taking the S huh?

Not really a kids thing but NOTL (Niagara on the Lake) is a very nice area to drive through while your in the falls and a great location to pick up some nice wines.
