Default To HDTV or to not

True to my TV addiction, I just picked up my third TV in 12 months. This one, a 34 inch Panasonic widescreen tube, is for my bedroom. Its HD, but I dont have HD. Wife is pissed cuz its too big. Crazy talk that is.

So my friends, should I fork out the additional $25ish a month for HD in my bedroom? Media room? Kitchen?

Is it the shiznit?

Hook up a Progressive scan DVD player to your HD ready tv and see the picture. That will allow you to decide if you believe it's the shiznit or not.

We have Starchoice and watch probably half of our must see shows in HD. It is unreal! 65" widescreen helps.

DO IT - DO IT NOW!

It all depends on which system you have.. Bell sucks ass for HD programming.

The picture quality is really that much better

Starchoice is "free" once you buy the receiver, I haven't done it yet because my only HDTV is in the basement and I like watchin' the regular crap in my living room. Progressive DVD is wicked, can't wait to get HD but I need another HDTV!

Damn TV is an expensive hobby!

Ive got Rogers...

I think S2000raj's idea is a good one. Get the progressive scan and go from there...

Me thinks that a trial is in order. Ive noticed that Speed isnt HDTV.
