Hi guys, need some help from you guys about installing the j's ETD. I got some used part off ppl in the s2ki forums (j's strut bar with ETD mount, ARC heatshield and J''s ETD), the strut bar and heatshield fit fine, just have to break the fuse box oem bracket, but when I try to install the ETD, it wouldn't fit at all, cuz the a/c line (silver one) is totally blocking it, and since I got the parts used, don't have any instruction. so if anyone have that setup installed in their car in TO, plz give me some advice or what I can do?

Hey, where are you located? i have it installed on my car but took it off in the end. the vibration/noise got annoying after a while. If your close to where i am i could always come to your place and give you a hand. Let me know im located around the markham area

 

vibration/noise??? how bad is it??? this is kinda the first mod for my car, if is pretty bad, then I am not gonna even bother putting it on. I will give it a try now after my car cool down see if I can make it work, cuz from what I saw last nite, my a/c line is totally in the way, I don't want to bend anything too much.

icic...cool thx David...btw I just took everything apart and try to install it again, a/c line is in the way, did u have to bend your a/c line??? and if yes did u have to bend it alot???

 

Nope, didn't bend mine or anything..however it was touching maybe thats why it was making a noise or soemthing..but yaa give it a shot and if it doens't work and you need help let me know

 

I kinda gave up now, try everything today to get it on, but is just putting too much pressure on the ac line if I force it in there. it's not working for me and don't really want to bend the ac line, maybe I am just gonna sale the ETD

Sorry to bring this topic back up, but is it confirmed that the OEM fuse box bracket will need to be removed in order to install the strut bar/ETD? Thanks!
