Hey fellas, I just came back from my S2K hunt in the GTA and let me tell you it was a dissapointing experience. The actual cars and the used car dealerships, they seemed to know almost nothing about the cars and giving me false information about the vehicle (US Car) telling me it has not been involved in an accident when in fact it has. Also when I seen a S2K that looked descent and went to take it for a test drive it was refusing to go in reverse gear First I thought it was me, but the salesman couldnt do it either and the way he was shoving the gears around I just thanked him for his time grabbed the photocopied paper of my license off his desk and left. I tried another dealership and the price advertised was about $4K over when I got there I even looked at his sales sheet to make sure he wasnt just BS'N me but it had been marked up. Also the car was parked bumper to bumper behind 12 other cars, so test driving was out of the question. Also the car I was looking at was a 2004+ S2000.

Is there anyone willing to help me out let me see how the car feels, not interested in booting around just want to see how it handles. Any takers? Lunch on me and a 6 pack of your choice?

You do know that in order to go into reverse you have to PRESS DOWN and then move all the way over to the right..yes? Just double checkin some people dont get that.

Ummm..and yes do be careful when picking up a used S2K a lot of times they have been abused. Goodluck.

 

Yep I realise this, but even thought I was pushing down on the shiftier and trying to get in gear it would not allow me to. The gears felt very restricted. The motor idle also didnt seem very healthy either.

Also if anyone has any good leads on a 04+ S2000 for a reasonable price with kms on the lower side please feel free to give me a shout. Also due to many bad experiences with US vehicles a Canadian vehicle would be prefered and warranty would be nice.

Borbor you definately have a nice ride GL with the sale, but I really have my heart set on the 04+ body style.
