Default How Do You Gusy Do It!!

How do you store your car for the winter?????

It's been 1 week today that I've been without my car. Due to the poor weather the past week I will have to wait until monday to get mine back.

I swear I won't make it through the weekend with this Altima. Maybe I can sleep until monday afternoon so the time goes by instantly.

Let's see both my cars and the bike have been in storage for about 11 weeks, and I figure I have 10 or 11 to go...

It is easy for me; I have been doing it for more than a decade, so I just know this is the season of the truck.

I do go out and visit them from time to time but right now when it is so cold and the roads are so filthy it is easy, I mean I have NO DESIRE to drive my cars right now, no desire at all. When it gets hard for me is once it gets warmer and the roads look like a salt lick, that is when it is hard!

Oh, and I just put it out of my mind, and fill my mind with other things, like dreaming about...

Doug, when are you going to pull the trigger?

Jason, I told you yesterday, it's been 3 1/2 weeks since I've driven my car, and it is starting to drive me nuts.

Oh, and J, I can answer for Marco, he is so afraid of nasty swirl marks his car is normally hiding in the garage so now is not much different than in the summer...

Rob, if my house does not experience some major disaster, just about a year from now. I would like to wait for an '05, you know that 2nd model year thing... I would also like to think they might expand their color choices and maybe even slip in an improvement or two. I will have the S paid off by then so I will be ready for another "car" payment.

All the colors are very dark to me. I don't like the white because it flattens out all the cool body shapes, and as much as I like the silver, it hides the chrome and the chrome details I think look really cool. Right now the #1 choice is Red Brawn, which looks exactly like my '95 XE-V6...

Yea it blows huge. I took the cover off the S the other day to get my floor mats out, and wow! I forgot how great NFR looks!

Like Mike said; "When you take it out in the spring, it's like Christmas all over again".

I figure Christmas is coming about April 15th.
