Arrow How to get an S2K test drive?

Does anyone have any suggestions of how I could go about getting a test drive in an S2000? I am seriously considering importing a used S2000 or M Roadster from the US, but have been unable to test drive one to see which one I want...I don't want to bother a private owner if I am not planning on buying their specific car, and dealers seem very reluctant to give drives without a deposit.

Any suggestions? I need to see if it feels like the right car for me...

it'll be hard to get a test drive for an S during the winter... if it's in the spring/summer, you can try a variety of dealers... everyone i went to let me test drive it as long as it's not on the showroom...

The first time I ever drove an S2000 was after I signed the papers and drove my S2000 off the dealer's lot. Never regretted it a single bit.....who the hell needs a test drive?

Walk into a dealer and ask for a test drive, is that too obvious or am I missing something?

I found a dealer with a used one. None of the dealers around here had a new demo.
