I have been hunting for a while also. I know someone who told me they have a clean title 2000 s2k 80kkm Canadian, for only $13500. New tires and all. He's my fall back incase something goes wrong with my other deals currently. I'll shoot you up when I am willing to give up his info

$15,000 for an AP1 is reasonable. I can tell you GPW will be tough. NFR is pretty rare too. Your budget is fine but where you will have a problem, as you seem to already know, is quality.
Last year I saw around 12 S2K's in person, most averaging in the $13,000 range. All of which were in horrible shape. Anything decent was $17,000 and up, and that was not even for a "mint" car.
Here is hoping you get lucky and find one in good shape. Its good that you are open to all colours as that will increase your odds of finding a good one.

I'll ask for his VIN and run a check to see how legit he is. His story is that he has had the car for 10 years, and at the age of 70 he can't handle it anymore. How far are you willing to travel?

Yeah, whats his info? lol
Just give it time and youll find one. There are alot of overpriced S2000s for sale and they sit on kijiji for months and you can bet that when they do sell they arent getting their asking price. 15K is a decent budget for an AP1
