If the cat does not "scrub" your exhaust gases enough to pass "Drive Clean"-then yes it is not allowed on our roads...

...says the kid with a tp lol

hfc should pass and from my experience on other cars it will give better numbers either from efficiency and/or because its newer than the oem cat its replacing.

i think if your engine is moded heavily you will only pass when the cat is new but after a while it will wear and will start to fail for example o'mailey s is tank that y probably it works fine then starts to fail... not sure if this is correct but i thought i might put in my 2 cents lol... im thinking of getting a high flo cat just so maybe the exhaust can get a little deeeper in sound lol

I had intake exhaust hfc and emanage blue tuned. No problems what so ever. I'm gonna run it again when it's due with my supercharger. We will see.

hfc are usually fine, i've used them on past cars (honda and non honda) and have always been fine with emissions here. they were older cars tho, so the standards for those years were prob more lax though lol. if it's a cheaper brand hfc...and your car runs rich, yes it will most likely fail quicker and get blocked up easier too...no good. it'd be nice to tune the car after, but it's not a biggie.
