I watched Initial D last night with eng. subtitles.

I thought the cinematography was very good, story wasn't too bad, but the driving scenes were excellent.

To compare it to the FnF series is natural but easily there's no comparison... unless you're really into Paul Walker.

I really like how it focused on how it's not the fastest most powerful car that wins, and it spends a lot of time on driver precision.

Anyways, I'd like to hear what 'chall thought.

Call me a purist.. but I hated the story part of the movie. They screwed up everything!! Driving scenes were good though.
