Ipod Advice
So i'm biting the bullet and buying an iPod.
My question now is which one should i get and why ?
A coworkers said he finds the 4gig mini too small and is frustrated loading/unloading songs.
I like the colour screen of the photo, but i can't real see using it for anything. I dont plan on connecting it to a TV to view photos.
Thoughts ?
(oh, and it has to be an iPod, not iriver or Rio or something because i'm getting the connection for the OEM honda deck.)

Ron you should have reminded me about the XM the other night.
I have it in the MINI and you could have heard it in all its glory.
Ipods are great I have one collecting dust..however the XM selection cannot be beat.

Likely it doesn't have an AUX port...so try to look at PIE or Blitzsafe.
One of those guys should have something for AUX.
If not you could always go FM mod, which isn't the greatest but most XM radios have it built in now and its pretty strong.

Yeah, if was in the car more, i probably would have opted for the XM route. Reality is that some months I might only spend 2 hours or so in the car for the entire month.
What I really wanted was a resonably inexpensive replacement for CD's or the CD changer.
It seems that there are a few Ipod connectors that utilize the stock CD changer wiring socket. Dave, there may be some XM options that use the same thing. It's pretty cool because all of your dash controls will still work without needing the pax-swi thingy.
Darren: can you send me the price of the 6gig mini too ?

It all depends. I love my mini, because it holds a hell of a lot more than a CD changer. It's easy enough to copy new songs. And what are you going to do with 30 days worth of music? It's easy to navigate, but still. That's overkill. The mini fits nice in the cupholder too. Don't know if the full size one does. Plus it's cheaper, and it fits nicer in your pocket when you don't want to leave it in your car.
If you go with the Ipod you can use the Neo Ion to hook it up to the factory headunit, I have it and it works great! Better than an FM transmitter which can go out at anytime... plus the static... just terrible!
