Default A Markham unFnF Idiot

So Julianne is driving down 9th line on Sunday. (her shifting is coming along pretty good) Anyways, we get this White STS on our ass tailing us. She's clearly uncomfortable with it so when the road splits to two lanes we move to the right and the Caddy and some company minivan passes us. Coming up to the 407, they're both stopped in the left lane and light goes green as we're approaching. Now the right lane is going to end so Julianne maintains her speed but the Caddy jumps on the gas to get ahead before the merge. I know that she's not going to VTEC it to get by the caddy in time so I tell her to let him by.

So we're now on the one lane 50kph section of 9th line doing 65-70 and the 'er in the minivan is now two feet off the rear bumper. After the the Caddy, this wingnut has me just pissed by now. With Julie driving, i'm not sure of the best way to deal with this situation. Anyways, after some "non-verbal communcation" I tell her to slow down and move to the right to let the prick by (still only one lane). The the bimbobox rolls by and the driver yell's out "it's not a 'en Porsche boys!"

Who the cares what kind of car it is !!! If you're tailgating a Hyundai or a Ferrari, YOU are the asshole!!! I wished I was driving my Dad's old 77 Impala at the time so i could have just slammed on the binders to avoid some imaginary squirl or something.

His minivan is not a porches either. You should have yelled back, "No, it's faster"

She's liking it more and more. She's still nervous driving it but getting better. I'm hoping she gets more confidence after the SAAB school. (hopefully not TOO much confidence)

Actually, if we had the space, we'd probably have a vintage Datsun 1600 roadster for her by now. Saw one on the autotrader that she really fell in love with.
