Did anybody see that movie? That has got to be the worst re-make (of a tv show) and acting I have ever seen. Farrell's acting sucked (at least as far as being Sonny Crockett).

 

agreed... Mikey, i recomend you leave your shiney suit at the cleaners and pass on this one.

It was really dissapointing especially after they rebroadcast the pilot episode a few weeks back.

 

Uhmm dont know if u guys know but they made the movie to not be anything like the show, so if u guys are saaying that i guess they did a good job, i liked it. ive never seen an episode of miami vice tv show? but they did that on purpose just to let u know

 

I understand the point was not to copy the orginal series.

But.... the series had a good sense of what defined "cool" at the time (aside from the F430 is saw none of that), had intensity (not really dragging like the movie did), and some element of humour which (outside of 10 seconds of jamie foxx) the movie lacked.

I've liked all of Michael Mann's movies but this one did not deliver the goods.
