Default Mini Meet - anyone?

Guys, anyone want to meet up sometime in the up-coming weekends for a Mini meet or a run?

I need a break from my regular routine - work eat sleep work eat sleep!

Jim,

Did you just take your CFA? I just did level 3 yesterday and am still de-stressing.

Life is slowly returning to normal. . . .

I say ice-cream Tuesday night.

We're off to Montreal on Thursday for the Grand Prix!

Hey Rob,

YES and Level III too! What row were you in? I was in 65 South seat 7. It wasn't a very big turnout this year.

I too am still feeling the horrid effects of that ugly exam. I think they made it especially difficult this year because of the insane high passing rate last year. It was something like 82% vs the 48% the year before. I guess AIMR is just making good use of the law of averages. Needless to say that it felt like I was run over by a 22 wheeler. I think I probably did better in the morning than the afternoon though. I guess we will see in August ... Sorry to get off topic.

Now that I've got my life back, wrt ice cream Tuesday night, it sounds good, but it might not be the best night judging that the forecast is calling for rain. Is Wednesday or Thursday an option?

Oh man, I wish I could go to the Grand Prix. Unfortunately that's the weekend I'm registered for the M2 licensing training. Have a good one.

Cheers,

Jim

I was in Section 68 South, Row 28. Don't worry, everyone found the afternoon section absolutely brutal.

That f----ing stats question, where they took the derivative of the trend and then asked you to use it was totally outrageous. Then they make you take the log of a negative number, which can't be calculated - unless you remembered from your calculus class how to do it - WTF??!!?? Nothing to do with finance, everything to do with lowering the pass rate.
