Default Paintless dent removal

The other day on the way home from Stoneycreek, I had a rock hit my hood, leave a huge dent and scare the S#*t out of me and my wife. I was wondering if anyone has ever had paintless dent removal done and if they liked the results. I won't get it fixed until the spring but I'm just curious about people's experiences.

I can't stand looking at that dent, it's huge

Ive had it done but not on my S2k (touch wood)....If done right you would never know it ever happend. Since it was done on your aluminum hood, make sure you take it to someone who knows exactly what they're doing. Aluminum is much more ductile and malleable than steel. More damage than good can be done.

HMMMMM time for a CF hood?...

if it will cost you $300 to have your hood fixed, thats reducing the cost of the CF hood by a good chunk.

just something to think about...Im waiting for a rock to hit my hood!

You know Dave, I immediately thought of a CF hood. I'd buy one in a heart beat. I love the way they look on our cars.

The hard part is convincing my wife to let me get it. I've got all winter to work on her.

I've used AutoCosmetic.com (on mulitple occasions) and very happy about the results each time.

This last time I had our Integra patched up (we bought it used and it just had a TON of little tiny waves and dimples and stuff all over it). Tony (the dent guy) did a great job and it really made the car look that much better, which is good since we're close to selling it.

Yeah I think it's $100 for the first and 50 for each additional. Details are on the their site - www.autocosmetic.com
