Pricing Question
So I'm getting moved to Canada this summer and I've always been in love with the older GT-R's. Now I'd finally have the chance to own one. What I'm wondering is how much would I be able to get for my s2k? Its in good condition, has around 50k km's, MY00 Silversone. The cost of importing the car is gonna be covered, and I know I can get more money for it in Canada than I can in the U.S. Ive looked at autotrader, classifieds, and kijiji and I think i could get around 18-19k for it. This number seems really high to me though, and I just wanted to confirm with people who purchased their cars in Canada before I looked into this more.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I haven't lived in Canada for years, so selling a car here is completely new to me. Are there any other things that I would need to take care of when selling the car?
Thanks for the help,
Chris

needs valid emission, safety. um, what else, needs to have the Transport Canada things done to it if they havent already. There is a website, RIV.ca I believe it is that can help you. 18-19, not sure, I bought late 08 for 18k so.

Car has no accidents?
Flawless paint?
30000 miles?
Records of work?
Good soft top?
Interior in good condition?
You might get what you are asking.
There is a buyer for everything.
Importing a car to Canada is easy.
The government just wants their money.
I imported my car from the states and it went fine.
As long as your car can pass a safety inspection and an emission test, you should be on your way to getting a GTR.

No accidents, good interior condition, great soft top, and the company moving me is taking care of all the import costs (emissions, safety, etc)
Thanks for the website, ill make sure i check it out,and I thought 18 was high as well until I checked autotrader.ca and saw that most cars were in that price range.

Last summer I sold my Yellow AP1 (2003) with 33,000km for $18,500. It was hit in a parking lot by previous owner but had a clean title, repainted in some parts and had a big scratch down the side. I told the buyer about all of this. He was still impressed with the over all condition.
There really is a buyer for everything. If you want the max money for your car, you just have to wait for that buyer. Without seeing the car it hard to price out but you should have no problem getting good money.

Further more, having low miles and sought after colour combo will help get a higher price. If your employer is going to be importing, I would look at a few more vehicles you could flip and make a profit!

dont think you can get 18-19 k though... first off its a 2000, secondly its silverstone(not hating but soooo many around). I can see a gpw on red or a bb on red fetching that much with 50 km in mint condition NP. Also the fact that its an american car may turn off some people. Id say 17 ish would be a fair listing price.
