I remember Renault had come under huge scrutiny for ditching Button for Alonso.

Hmmmmm ???

Ability wise I think they're quite similar (although Alonso is on a confidence high right now)- If only Button had a car that would take him to the finish.

I say the complete opposite!

Alonzo will be a world champion someday, Button is going to need a miracle to achieve that.

What?! Put Button in that Renault and i would bet good $$'s it would be an even race. I wouldn't be surprised if Button was better. Keep in mind, JT out-duelled FA last year. Not trying to take anything away from him but FA is seriously hooked up right now!

I am not a renault fan but I if I had to make a prediction I would say that Alonso will win the drivers championship this year, he is very fast, consistent and determined.

Button is good but he gets involved in the politics too much when he should be concentrating on his job.

Hey, what's you fax number?
You just earned a case of beer, let me fax it right over.

When Alonzo won his first race by lapping MS I was hooked. Don't get me wrong, I like MS a lot, but if he can do that, then clearly he has what it takes to grow and mature into a champion.

Alonzo is very young, he has been in only 54 F-1 races, Trulli has been in 133. Fernando needs to mature there is no doubt, but that does not take away from his greatness.
