Talking Returning to the community

Hello everyone,

After selling MY04 a while back, I haven't been able to find any car afterwards that actually puts a smile on my face like an S2k.
I think this year I will be hunting for a clean S2K (preferably AP2 like my previous), however, the price increases are somewhat pushing me away.

Anyways, I am hoping I can still find old familiar faces around and meeting new ones in the future!

Welcome back!
Yeah the prices are going up. Who knows what will happen in the future. They just don't make cars like these anymore and that's what's driving the cost up. All these 90s/00s era japanese cars are climbing.

Finding ones in excellent condition and low mileage is getting harder to come by. Only 11 on the trader today in Canada. Crazy!

You and I are in the same boat, some of these prices are pushing C6 and C6 Z06 territory, but I’m determined to find one.

Welcome back.
Expanding the search to provincial rather than local really helps to find those hidden gems.

I know you are in Ontario, but like you, I lamented selling my MY01 which I had owned since new. I was forced to sell it in '05 due to competing domestic financial commitments. For almost 15 years I cycled through numerous cars trying to find one that would stir the soul as much as the S. Finally pulled the trigger on a low mileage AP1 last spring and haven't looked back since. "Good" unmolested cars seem to be far and few between in Canada, so when you see one you like, jump on it!

Good luck on your search. With spring not too far away, I'm sure we will see a few more become available for sale.

thank you! i totally agree on jumping on them asap. America is probably a better option to find a great deal though. Canada seems to have over inflated prices and they're usually really beat up.
