soon i will be either getting an s2000 or an audi tt. just wondering what i should be looking for if i decide on an s2000. any bad years? model problems? chances of finding a used one with a hard top? what is the mileage like? any info would be greatly appreciated.

 

Try the General S2000 talk forum, and do a little search.

Depending on your geographical location, it's hard to say what are pros and cons.

There are no bad years as long as all TSB are done on the car.

 

i live north of toronto...i dunno y it shows an american flag.....gonna have to fix that

you know that audi TT uses the same chasis as the MK4 Golf and Jetta (20000-20004), right?

 

if you want less attention from cops then Audi TT

if you don't care, and its your weekend driver, I'd say s2000

The 2 aren't really comparible IMO, the TT is a boulevard cruiser wanna be sports car with no go.

The S2000 is a sports car.

The only BAD thing they could find was freeway cruising and RESISTING to speed hahaha

 

I hate the TT, it looks like a more luxurious VW Bug to me. I love my S, its a thrill every time I drive it.
