This thing is so sweet.

Will you run the lever closer to the steering wheel (ie, higher) evenutally, or keep it at that height?

So will this be a DSG type shifter, down and up only? Wouldn't it be best on the steering wheel to allow you to have both hands on the wheel and help with fatigue?

Going to try the shifter in this configuration and see how it works out.
It's not a dsg as it doesnt use two separate clusters and clutches to preselct gears. You still use a convetional clutch from rest.
solenoid actuated paddle shifters are available for the 60g however I didn't feel the additional $5000 was worth the potential performance gain. I'm not convinced paddle shifters will translate to a faster lap time than the conventional shift lever actuated sequential.
