Actually for the 05 year, the 5spd auto TorqShift tranny will be available with gas engines across the full line of Ford trucks I believe.
I still would have gotten the diesel though since I do haul a lot and the fuel economy is constant around 17L/100km, no matter how much I haul. With a gasser I'm sure that would be over 20L/100km and since I'll do about 60,000 km/year in the truck, the engine needs to last.

'05 for Ford would be a wise thing, they are loosing some buyers because of the Nissan tranny.
I guess I put on about 15 or 20,000 miles on my truck in a year. There is always a spike on the 1st year of ownership, but that is to be expected.
So, what kind of things do you tow?
