anything on white car is pointless... i wax and wax the b1tch out of it... and still can't beat the effect of one coat on a black...

thanks Simon and everyone else. I do plan on claying it and all that before i apply anything to it. I figure it will take me all day once i actually have the time.

By the sounds of it most people prefer Zaino to other products so i might be going with that.

yup a good prep and dry, curing time 7-8 hours..

the longer the first coat stays on the better.. (an overnight thing)

on the flip side, you can't see the smaller mistakes / swirl marks on it so for people like me, it's great!

Simon, will a dark, non metallic blue look as shiny or deep as black?

I find metallic paints just don't look as 'wet'.

won't "pop" as much as black, but can still get a very deep wet look
