so are you surprised that you get so much snow?

would the amount of snow that falls be all of a sudden unacceptable if it were listed as 50 ft?
No I'm not surprised by the amount, I live here, I see it, I deal with it. The point is I had no clue Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse were listed as 4, 11 & 12 in the country. Buffalo is an hours and 15 minutes to my west and Syracuse in an hour and 30 minutes to my east.

If we always got 50' and I was used to 50' then no, it would be no big deal. It is not so much about the number of inches or feet, it is all about the fact that I really did not know that Upstate NY is one of the snowiest places in the entire country.

Do you know where Toronto is ranked within Canada? I thought not...

The problem is you're on the wrong side of the puddle. I bet Toronto has seen maybe half of what you have.

Exactly. Give that man a bone!

Ah maybe that was not a good choice of words...

You order your Titan yet?

You wouldn't believe what Toyota Canada has gone and done . . .

The dealer I'm going with has his allocation days at the start of each month, so sometime in the next 2 to 3 weeks I have to go out there and place my order and give him the downpayment. I am so damn excited... I'm driving by the Nissan dealer almost everynight on the way home just to look at them.

I'm glad I live in such a snowy place, it has taught me to love pickups.

in Cali in the Sierra's they have had tons of snow this year. They need it to replenish wells and water supplies to keep those golf courses green this summer!

So, if you order a manual trans Tacoma double cab, you get the short 5 foot bed.

If you order the auto, you have to get the long 6 foot bed.

There is no short bed/auto double cab combo. The long bed puts the Tacoma within 3" length of the Titan double cab. Stupid.

Also, they charge you like $3k for an oil cooler, a tranny cooler, a trailer wire harness, and a hitch (this is what you get in the 6500lb tow package vs. the normal 5000lb tow package).

Freaking stupid. If I buy a Taco, it's coming from the States.

I really think you should go test drive a NISMO Frontier. In one of these threads I posted pics and specs. The NISMO version comes right from the factory ready for off-road work, right down to the electronic locking rear diff. I think you can get the NISMO in a 6-speed, but for towing the automatic would be the way to go.

Have you thought about trying one of these?
4.0 V6, 265hp @5,600 and 284ft=lb @4,000, standard with electronic rear diff lock.
The Off-road monster called NISMO comes in KingCab or CrewCab.
