You need to get a set from the dealer, I think there is a key code somewhere. in the secret

 

You have to have the dealer sell you a key with the proper coded implant so that it will start your car. Once you have this blank key, you can have the dealer look up the rest of your car's information and they can probably cut it for you, too.

As for getting into your car now, are you saying you are locked out? PM coming with info.

Xviper, i need help too. What is the exact process i need to go through to get a new key made? All of my papers are in the car. This is the secnd set ive lost. OMG!!!!!

 

I locked myself out of my car, once when I was 16 years old, since then I carry a spare in my wallet, something to consider.

All you really need is the VIN and proof you own that car. The dealer can get into the HONDA database and come up with the key codes for that VIN and cut you a new key with the proper electronic code. Most dealers will not do this unless you have lots of documentation showing that VIN is your car.

Darren... It might be a cool feature but if you think about it, that is very scary that you can do that from the internet. Because the internet is not a safe place at all with all those hackers, if you know what I mean...
