Default Sorta OT: File Sharing

I know RIAA has no jurisdiction in Canada, and I'm not too worried about Metallica's financial stability.

I'm looking at a digital camera that has an MP3 player in it, and I'd like to know where the best place is to get MP3's.

I know Kaaza lite has spyware on it, i don't want any of that crap on my computer.

Flame on, or give me good suggestions

Kazaa has spyware on it, Kazaa lite does not. Or at least they claim not to.

But more importantly, may I suggest that you do NOT get a camera with an MP3 player in it?

Spend the extra to get a better camera, and if you want an MP3 player then go and get one seperately.

And stay away from Sony "MP3" players. They're a ing pain in the ass to use with their retarded ATTRAC re-encoding.

Arthur, I'm sorry I don't really know. Post in the Corner, you'll get some great recommendations.

My sister has a Canon G2 which is already a couple years old. It was around $1k and it takes amazing pictures.

So, look into Canons. I have a Nikon Coolpix 950 - probably 4 years old now, and it takes very good pictures as well but battery life is an issue (not a problem on the new ones).

As you probably already know, the higher the Megapixels, the sharper the image in general.

thanks for the help so far, now one more question:

3 out of the 4 songs I've downloaded so far sound very "staticy", fuzzy, and not as clear.

How can I tell which files are of good sound quality? Is it the Bitrate?

A higher bit rate should be better, but that doesn't gaurntee it will sound good, it could have been recorded that way. I usually DL a few of them , and pick the best.
