Supercharger reccomendations for AP1?
Take your money and stuff it slowly into the little hole on the left fender. I keep hearing how guys can't drive their cars because they can't afford to fix them or hotels are too expensive or they don't have enough gas money.
BUT they have $ 5000-10,000 of mods sitting on their car.
Drive the damn thing and leave it alone.
Now if you have a really lot of money, keep a stock car to drive and a modded one to show off.
No offence to the guys with modded cars who drive them every chance they get but guys that mod and don't drive are wasting a great car.

I have a secondary car but the S is my daily April-Oct...I have the money as I just got a new gig at Microsoft that has given me the extra cash flow but still have a budget. Am I over my head daily driving a sc s2k?
Thanks for the input guys appreciate it.

SC/Turbo will have more issues than a unmodified S2000. It's really simple, the more you have, the more things to go wrong.
Should that deter you? No, just do it right the first time and any issues you have will be minor.
If you plan on tracking, plan on upgrading your cooling and have additional sensors to be able to log/warn you if there's a issue.
You will lose the "friendly" error codes that the OEM ECU provides.
1. It will work good like Myfly's after a fair bit of "tuning" but likely will no longer be a DD.
2. It will be a nightmare and will no longer be a DD because of unresolved issues.
3. It will be for sale because you need the money back out of it and it really did not bring much to the driving experiance anyway.
4. It goes boooom and there is a lot of crying.
Just drive around at 8000 RPM if you need full power on tap. Can't hurt it any more than boost. If it is big boost you will be afraid to push it too often so you don't hurt it. What fun is that?
Way more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.

But will I see you at the Dragon?
My advice is do a health check on your car before starting such a project. A compression and leakdown test will tell you a lot. I have had zero issues with my SOS kit but the journey revealed pre-existing issues with my motor that I may not have discovered had I not done the install and tuning.
