^Interested to hear your thoughts too - seems like a solid bang for your buck if they're somewhat comparable to the big brands.

Car looks like it's coming along great though!

I would love to but between some more minor things with this car and family/work commitments likely not.

sit rep:

1. i need to obtain a new cat (on order). My old one I was trying to use is clogged to the point that it’s causing a no start condition. Running off the header the car runs mint. New hfc should be in beginning of October.

2. my driveshaft cv boot on tranny side is torn. Drive shaft arriving this week for replacement. It’s used so...crossing fingers there is no play.

3. Need an alignment badly. After swapping front subframe, eyeballing the alignment and installing the spoon subframe collars the front is very off.

4. Debating calling it a year as I still have an AP2 rear subframe that I plan on dropping in along with rear diff mounts. Also new clutch line needs to happen soon.

So much stuff left but come a hell of a long way to this point.

Calling it a year? I'm assuming you have a garage that you work in? Seems like a good winter project to be ready for spring.

yes my little single car garage. the good thing is at least its insulated. i've done quite a lot in this tiny garage of mine...2 winters ago, i put the stock fuel tank back in which necessitated dropping the rear subframe...so a rear subframe swap is old hat to me...and we just did a motor swap so talk about making due with what you hvae. in the meantime i think i will cruise around on what i have, but nothing intense until i get my alignment with updated rear subframe.

All done. Still need my HFC and a good break in for this 0 km motor.

Cosmetic things. Going to do some cool livery over the winter. Something with a red base and maybe splashes of gray/silver.

Just curious, was there ever a moment in your life when you drove a Lamborghini Gallardo to take a look at a red hard top?
