Did you find a place yet. Did you happen to check out the place I mentioned. A buddy of mine gets his Civic done there. I personally haven't been there, yet. But I've heard there one of the best around. My buddy's car is full of mods, it's a pure race car sponsored by Buddy club. Anyways, I was looking for a shop to install a full Turbo kit and they quoted me $2000 out the door.

If anyone knows of a place cheaper then that, let me know.

I started to look into that shop and actually found out there are a bunch of local civic and integra guys that have gone there for tuning. I still would like to see some positive feedback from some s2k owners.

I think im gonna go check them out this week... just to check out the shop

personally, i wouldn't bother with a vafc. i've had one in the past and it was generally a waste of time. you are much better off going with a dedicated tuning tool that you can use to "modify" more than just a map signal going to your ecu.

as for splitfire, i have no personal experience but have seen their fab/install work first hand and was not impressed.

Dogman will tune your VAFC. He is up in Creemore. It would be WELL WORTH the drive up there.

Let me know when youre going there. Id like to come and watch if Im able. Id like to learn about it too.

Hey Biobanker... I only want to get my VAFC tuned on a dyno... so that i know everything is OK

Have any of you used a spoon or mugen ecu in your S? Maybe this is a better route to go.. since tuning around here seems to be lacking.. and a good tuner is hard to come by.

got my car tuned last week...

Made 203whp base and finished out with 210 whp... i made some serious power past 8krpm. Now it doesnt drop below 200whp right to 9k.
The A/F ratio is nice and straight too.. not like before.
Just thought id post my results.

Not to bad considering it only cost me $150

Nick
