Hey everyone,

I sent user ForestKrunk my OEM catalytic converter on August 17th via Purolator. We agreed on the price of $115 which would include shipping to his house in Toronto. At that point he said he would email money transfer me the money that day. I did not received the money, and tried to contact him three times; August 23, September 1, and September 15. He did not return any of my text.

I understand that I shouldn't have sent him the part until he paid me first, I just generally have faith in people, but in this case it backfired. I don't care about the $115 I just want to give everyone else the heads up in case the same guy decides to sell to you or purchase parts from you.

I would post this in the feedback section as well. I have PM'ed him asking that he complete the transaction. I understand having faith in people to a point but the guy is a guest with 20 some odd posts. Definitely should have gotten payment first.

Kind of pathetic when people pull this kind of crap, especially over a 100$

If ones integrity and honesty can be bought for that much they're likely not going anywhere in life.

Hope this gets resolved or it's a giant misunderstanding

 

I've sold him a few parts, and I met him before. I think he is a decent guy, maybe something came up in his life, he might come through on this and may just be slow to respond. I don't think he will disappear for such little money. I have faith he will send payment, but yeah never send parts ahead of payment.

 

Post his address. What happens after is out of your control...
